Forges: developers, developers, developers

It's the current fashion: forges. There are so many that you don't know which to choose.

The forges are websites hosting software projects that, in addition to hosting your code, offer the services the developers need for their project, like mail lists, bug tracking, revision control for team developing (CVS and/or SVN), forums, web hosting, ...

The most known and used is SourceForge, but more began to appear and now even Microsoft has its own open-source repository. But it's not the only one, we also have Sun, Google (with SoC, a very interesting project for free software community), FSF, Novell or RedIRIS (Spanish public organization), Mancomún (related to CESGA) and BerliOS (from the German Government and that now, like other times, is down).


New Website Online

I set up my new website over PHP. I tried to improve its appareance and functionality to a less about:blank based schema, though it still need much improvements. When it become developed and tested enough I may do it open source, but nowadays it's still too much beta and untested. It also has not much content (in fact, most of I added it for testing), more will be added.
